What is Mrembo Project all about!!
Mrembo Project is
a school-based Menstrual Health and Sexual Reproductive Health Rights (SRHR)
initiative targeting girls aged 10–18 in the Mwanza Region.
Mrembo Project aims to reduce menstrual stigma, absenteeism, poor hygiene practices, and teenage pregnancy by empowering adolescent girls with accurate SRHR knowledge, practical menstrual hygiene skills, and emotional resilience through education workshops, reusable pad distribution, mentorship clubs, teacher training, and community awareness initiatives.
